Privacy policy
What data we collect on this site, what we use it for and how to ask us to delete it. No fine print.
This site is the corporate website of CG Kofilman S.A. (CGK), Acantitita 497, La Chimba Industrial District, Antofagasta, Chile. We do not sell online, we do not ask you to register and we have no forms: the only way to contact us from here is by writing to our email addresses.
What data we collect
Two things, and neither identifies you by name:
- Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to know which pages are visited, from which country and device, how long they are read and which sections and buttons are used. It is there to improve the site, not to track people.
- Technical logs. Our hosting provider (Netlify) keeps standard server logs — IP address, browser, date — for security and availability reasons.
Google Analytics uses first-party cookies and masks your IP address before storing it. We do not collect names, national ID numbers, phone numbers or payment details through the site.
If you write to us
When you write to contacto@cgksa.cl, ventas@cgksa.cl, rrhh@cgksa.cl o finanzas@cgksa.cl, your contact details and the content of the email stay on our mail servers. We use them only to reply to you and handle the request: quotations, job applications or supplier registration. We do not sell them or pass them on to third parties for commercial purposes.
CVs sent to Human Resources are kept while the selection process is open and for up to 12 months afterwards, in case a suitable vacancy comes up. You can ask us to delete yours sooner.
How long we keep it
- Analytics data: up to 14 months, the maximum Google Analytics 4 allows.
- Business email: for as long as the commercial relationship lasts and any legal or tax retention periods that apply to us.
- Hosting technical logs: according to Netlify's retention policy.
Your rights
Under Chilean Law 19,628 on the protection of private life — and Law 21,719, which replaces it from December 2026 — you may ask us to access your data, correct it, delete it u object to our processing of it. Write to us at contacto@cgksa.cl and we will reply.
If you would rather not be counted by the analytics, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or use your browser's private mode. The site works exactly the same.
Third parties we work with
- Google Analytics (Google LLC) — audience measurement.
- Netlify — site hosting and content delivery network.
- Google Fonts — site typefaces.
These services may process data outside Chile. Each has its own privacy policy.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date below. Substantive changes will be announced on this same page.
