One platform, three stages: model, simulation and a 100 t test.

Description

A crusher's electromagnet has to sit exactly where it belongs. The platform that holds and positions it was designed, built and certified by us, end to end.

We started by surveying the electromagnet and its mounting environment. The key requirement: the platform had to rise around 300 mm to match the electromagnet's position at the mine, and that lift is achieved with six hydraulic cylinders operating simultaneously. That demands a rigid, level structure with no weak points, which we verified with von Mises FEM structural analysis before fabricating — the second stage of the slider shows that result, with the applied load arrows.

Certification was done with a real 100-tonne load test: a combination of yellow counterweights and one black counterweight adding up to 100 t. Engineering, fabrication and certification all came from under the same roof, with full support throughout the project.
